Data strategy for mission-driven organizations

Beautiful thinking.
Bold action.

Eunoia Catalyst helps nonprofits — across every sector — see clearly what to build, what to measure, and how to get there. Not by running your systems for you, but by giving you and your team the clarity and infrastructure to run them yourselves.

The problem this solves

Most organizations don't lack data. They lack a way to think with it.

Community-based organizations sit on more data than almost anyone realizes — intake records, program enrollment, outcomes forms, community demographics. What's usually missing isn't the data. It's the analytical infrastructure and clinical-grade rigor to turn it into decisions: which programs to expand, which populations are underserved, and which story to tell funders with real evidence behind it.

Eunoia Catalyst was built to close that gap — bringing population health methodology, applied statistics, and hands-on data infrastructure experience directly into organizations that are used to being underserved by the consulting world.

What we do

Four ways we work with organizations

Most engagements start as advisory work — diagnosing what's actually worth measuring and how to architect toward it. Hands-on build support is available at a smaller scale, when it's the right tool for the job.

Theory of Change & Measurement Design

Build or rebuild a logic model with your program staff, then a straight answer on what you can realistically measure to prove it's working — often the right place to start.

Population Health & Community Analytics

Understand who you actually serve, who you're missing, and where the gaps between need and reach really sit — using census, public health, and your own program data together.

Outcomes & Program Evaluation

Build measurement systems that hold up to funder scrutiny — clear metrics, defensible methodology, and reporting that actually reflects what your programs achieve.

Data Infrastructure & AI Readiness

Get a practical, right-sized path from spreadsheets and disconnected systems to infrastructure that scales — including where AI tools genuinely help, and where they don't yet.

How an engagement works

A process built for organizations without a data team

01

Listen & assess

A structured review of what you're already collecting, what decisions you need to make, and where the two don't currently connect.

02

Design the approach

A right-sized plan — no infrastructure you don't need, no methodology heavier than the decision requires.

03

Build & analyze

Whatever mix of advisory and hands-on work fits — I might build a piece of it, coach your team through building it themselves, or both, depending on capacity and budget.

04

Hand off & coach

Documentation and coaching so the capability stays inside your organization, not locked in a consultant's laptop.

Why "Eunoia"

Beautiful thinking, in the Greek sense

I built this company on a simple premise: use whatever talents, skills, and abilities you have to leave a place better than you found it. For me, that means bringing real analytical rigor to organizations that rarely get access to it — not by building and running their systems for them, but by helping them see clearly what to build, what to measure, and how to get there themselves.

That's also the thinking behind a long-term goal of this work: partnering directly with incubators that help nonprofits get off the ground — bringing data clarity into an organization's foundation from day one, across whatever sector it serves.

"The organizations doing the most important work are usually the ones with the least access to the tools that would make their case for them."

Eunoia Catalyst was founded by a clinical psychologist who spent years building data and analytics infrastructure inside community behavioral health — and wanted to bring that same capability to organizations who'd otherwise never have access to it.
